On Oct 25/08 the 1^st Westfield Scouts were out cleaning up the Walking Trail in Grand Bay-Westfield to assist with a fund-raiser. They are planning on attending the ScotiaJam 2009 in Cape Breton which is a week long event for youth from all across Canada and the United States. The Scouts collected four large garbage bags of litter and a ¼ bag of returnables which they recycled and will receive a $200 donation from the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield.
