There was no one present speaking in favor of or against this Application.
Letter received from Sean Cashin stated no objection to this Application.
“…moved by Linda Estabrooks that the Planning Advisory Committee approve the following Variance to the Town’s Zoning By-law, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield By-law No. 101, for the purpose of renovating the existing structure with an addition to the bedroom area and provision of new covered front deck, to be located as shown on the site plan at 5 Tanglewood Court, PID No. 30046692:
a) under Section 8.2.1.3(d), grant a Variance of 0.38 m to reduce the required Front Yard Setback from 7.5 m to 7.12  m….”

APPLICATION FOR TEMPORARY USE RE: TERRY MONAGHAN/GRAND BAY HOME HARDWARE 277-279 RIVER VALLEY DRIVE
(A) DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S REPORT DATED MARCH 13, 2009
There was no one present speaking in favor of or against this Application.
“…moved by Ron Daigle that the Planning Advisory Committee grant a Temporary Use Permit to Donald G. Myles Ltd., operate a seasonal Garden Centre permitting a temporary structure to be used as a Garden Centre between April 1, 2009 and August 31, 2009 to be located in the parking lot located at 277/279 River Valley Drive, PID No. 00090258/00090266, subject to:
a) the area proposed for the Temporary Use is to be limited to a total of 65m² (700 sf);
b) no more than four permanent parking spaces are to be lost in the location of the Temporary Use;
c) pursuant to Section 2.9 of the Town’s Zoning By-law, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield By-law No. 101, authorization for the development described above (Garden Centre) is hereby granted for the temporary period beginning April 1, 2009 and expiring on August 31, 2009.  At the end of the authorized period, you (Donald G. Myles Ltd.) are hereby required to terminate or remove the development hereby authorized….”

1. “…moved by Jim Burke that the Planning Advisory Committee recommend to Council to adopt the proposed Draft By-law # 111, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Municipal Plan By-law, and proceed with the enactment thereof….”  and;
2. “….moved by Jim Burke that the Planning Advisory Committee recommend to Council to adopt the proposed Draft By-law # 112, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Zoning By-law, and proceed with the enactment thereof….”

APPLICATION FOR TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION APPROVAL RE: GARY AND LANA DAVIS – GEORGE STREET
(A) DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S REPORT DATED MARCH 16, 2009
There was no one present speaking in favor of or against this Application.
“…moved by Chyann Kirby that the Planning Advisory Committee recommend to Council the acceptance of $248.97, money in lieu of Land for Public Purposes (cash, money order or certified cheque) for the purposes of creating one new building lot out of PID No. 30024863, located on George Street as shown on the Tentative Subdivision Plan, Gary & Lana Davis Subdivision, Lot 09-1 and Lot 09-2, as prepared by DeSaulniers Surveys Inc. dated March 11, 2009, with approval of Final Subdivision Plan to be subject to:
a) payment of $248.97 (cash, money order or certified cheque);
b) any utility easements as required by NB Power & NB Tel for servicing lot to be recorded and signed on the Final Plan;
c) recording of Civic Number 80 on remnant Lot 09-1 on the Final Subdivision Plan….”
