7. APPLICATION FOR SUBDIVISION APPROVAL RE: TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION, CHARLES WILLIAMS SUBDIVISION, NB ROUTE # 177
 (A) DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S REPORT DATED MARCH 13, 2006
Applicant, Charles Williams was present and initially informed the Committee that he had nothing further to add to his Application.
The Committee then stated to Mr. Williams that his Application for Tentative Subdivision Approval submitted appears to be incomplete, in particular the Tentative Plan prepared by Surveyor, G. Fraser Smith.  Therefore, until such time the required information requested is forthcoming, as per Development Officer’s letter dated march 6, 2006 forwarded to him, with a copy emailed to his Surveyor, the Committee cannot make a decision.
Mr. Williams then advised the Committee that his Application submitted is to create a new lot and retain 66 ft access to the original lot.  Also, his present surveyor, G. Fraser Smith, has informed him that due to the fact his methods f surveying are not as current as today’s newer surveyors, and rather than update. He plans to retire and recommended that he obtain a new surveyor to continue on with his Subdivision Plan.
In closing, Mr. Williams added that it not necessary for him to do this work, and that he will either withdraw from having any work done, or he will obtain a new surveyor and resubmit a proper plan.
There was no one else present speaking in favour of or against this Application.
“…moved by Jim Burke that the Planning Advisory Committee Table the Application for Subdivision Approval for Tentative Subdivision Plan, Charles Williams Subdivision, plan undated, as prepared by G. Fraser Smith, N.B.L.S. for clarification of the Plan, including calculations to be shown in metric, drawn at an appropriate scale with appropriate bearings shown on a Plan dated for reference….”
Seconded by James Evans.  Carried.
