1. CALL TO ORDER
The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee met for a regular meeting on Monday, October 3, 2005 at 8:04 p.m. with Chairman, Larry Chapman presiding.
2. RECORD OF ATTENDANCE
Members absent were James Evans and Jim Burke.

3. PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 19, 2005

4. REGULAR COUNCIL MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 12, 2005

5. CHAIRMAN’S REMARKS
The Chairman requested the following Item be added to the Agenda as Item No. 10.  Re: Development Officer’s Report Dated October 3, 2005 Application for Subdivision Plan for Future Street Town of Grand Bay-Westfield / Deborah & Joe Young -Thompson Road

“…moved by Ralph Stevens that the Planning Advisory Committee submit the following budget figure of $8,500.00 for expenses of the Committee for the year 2006 as per:
Maximum Honorarium for PAC Members $3,600.00
Maximum Honorarium for PAC Secretary $2,760.00
Consultants, Legal Advice, etc.   $1,500.00
Supplies and Expenses     $   640.00
TOTAL       $8,500.00….”

8. APPLICATION FOR A DISCRETIONARY USE RE: PHIL HOLLAND – 10 GOLD CLUB ROAD
(A) DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S REPORT DATED SEPTEMBER 27, 2005
There was no one present speaking in favor of or against this Application.
“…moved by Ralph Stevens that the Planning Advisory Committee grant approval of a Discretionary Use for the construction of a 5.6 m² (60 sf) accessory building (toilet facilities) along Fairway #13 on the golf course property, PID No. 30138572 subject to conditions imposed by approval of the Department of Health ….”

9. APPLICATION FOR A NON-CONFORMING USE RE: LOIS KEENAN – 3 MURRAY STREET
(A) DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S REPORT DATED SEPTEMBER 28, 2005
There was no one present speaking in favor of or against this  Application.
“…moved by Mel Steffens that the Planning Advisory Committee is of the opinion that the existing non-conforming use (dwelling unit) located at 3 Murray Street, with PID No. 00221275 is damaged to an extent that at least one half of the building, exclusive of the foundation has been damaged and that the Planning Advisory Committee agrees that the building may be rebuilt as a continuing Non-conforming Use, to be located as per setback requirements established under  Section 9.2.1.3 of the Town’s Zoning By-law, Town of Grand Bay Westfield By-law # 101….”

“…moved by Ralph Stevens that the Planning Advisory Committee recommend to Council to give assent to the Subdivision Plan, Deborah and Joe Young Subdivision, FS-1 (Future Street)….”
