Improving Our Fitness after 50

Seated and standing Yoga, Strength and Resistance training appropriate for the 50 plus adults: the fit, the “deconditioned” and those with chronic health conditions .

Classes held Tuesday mornings from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. at the Grand Bay-Centrum

Start Date: Tuesday, September 20th. Cost $5.00 per class

The class consists of seated and standing yoga postures with the use of resistance bands and light weights for strength and conditioning.

Easy breathing and relaxation techniques to help with anxiety and sleep problems

Improved balance, strength, fall prevention are targeted.

All fitness levels are encouraged to participate

If you have arthritis, stroke, diabetes, , high blood pressure, obesity this class will improve your fitness level.

A certified yoga instructor-nurse from Inner Balance Wellness leads the classes (www.innerbalancewellness.ca).
