LED Christmas Lighting Promotion

and Gift Card Giveaway

Brundage Point River Centre

Come join the town of Grand Bay-Westfield and Efficiency NB on November 29th at 1:30 pm for information on how easy it is to save energy (and money) in your home. The public is also welcome to watch as participants in the Outdoor Christmas Greenery Workshop (conducted by Shades of Green) make their Christmas decorations come to life.

Now is the time to choose LED lights for your Christmas decorations.

If every household in Grand Bay-Westfield replaced just one 50 light string of traditional Christmas Lights (7-watt bulbs) to new energy efficient LED Lights for one Christmas season, the community would save over $12,200.00 and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 98 metric tons.

Come learn about the energy savings you can enjoy by transitioning to LED Christmas lights. HOME HARDWARE GIFT CARDS towards the purchase of Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights (courtesy of the Town) will be available to the first 50 residents to stop by, plus TWO FREE DOOR PRIZES will be drawn during the event, one being the outdoor display hand crafted at the Greenery Workshop by creative minds from Shades of Green.
