2nd Annual “Open Air Festival” Friday, August 20, 2010 and Saturday, August 21, 2010 The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield’s Tourism Committee, in cooperation with the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual “Open Air Festival” at the Brundage Point River Centre, 4 Ferry Road in Grand Bay-Westfield. Some of the events will include a pancake breakfast (at Westfield United Church), family fun canoe and recreational kayaking, live bands, a treasure hunt, a movie, and many more family events.
If you are planning to participate or just plan on being a spectator everyone is welcome, but please bring a picnic blanket and/or chair to enjoy the day. Please note some chairs will be available, upon request, for people with disabilities or mobility issues. Also, there will be no parking in the River Centre’s parking lot on August 20 and 21, 2010. A shuttle Comex bus will be available to pick up/drop off people between 10:30 am and 7:30 pm at the Sobeys parking lot, the Centrum, Westfield School, and the River Centre. Everyone who rides the bus will have their name entered into a draw for prizes. Alternate parking will be available at Westfield School. Inquiries: 738-6406.
