GRINDER PUMPING STATIONS
Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 11:00 AM, local time, November 21, 2003. The Work consists generally of the replacement of four grinder pumping stations and the construction of one new grinder pumping station complete with single 2 HP grinder pump, 1200 mm diameter wet well, control panel and electrical work and the supply and installation of approximately 47 metres of 150 mm diameter polyvinyl chloride DR35 sanitary sewer complete with 3 sanitary manholes, 5 sanitary sewer services, 130 metres of 50 mm diameter HDPE DR13.5 force main, 20 metres of 50 mm diameter PVC DR26 force main, 86 metres of 200 mm and 300 mm diameter polyvinyl chloride DR35 storm sewer complete with 2 storm manholes and 3 catch basins, asphaltic pavement restoration, and related site restoration. Particular Specifications may be obtained from the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, P.O. Box 3001, 609 River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B., E5K 4V3 OR FROM Godfrey Associates Ltd., 186 Adelaide Street, Saint John, N.B., E2K 1X1, upon payment of TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST). A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, in the fixed amount of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($ 25,000.00) must accompany each Tender. Tender Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton. Tenders will be opened publicly at the Town Office as soon after the Tender Closing as possible. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender. This
Project is being implemented pursuant to the Canada/New Brunswick Infrastructure
Program agreement and will be financed in accordance with the terms and
conditions of this agreement.
