Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 11:00 A.M., local time, June 8, 2006 at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office.

The Work consists generally of the supply, placement and compaction of approximately 6,500 tonnes of building foundation base material, 37,000 tonnes of Borrow “A” fill material, 100,000 tonnes of pit run gravel and 1,400 tonnes of crushed gravel to infill the site; 4,000 square metres of shoreline protection; 100 lineal metres of 300 mm diameter reinforced concrete storm sewer pipe complete with precast concrete structures; 120 lineal metres of concrete curb and gutter; 600 tonnes of Type “C” asphalt; 9,000 square metres of topsoil and hydroseed; and construction of a boat launch ramp.

Contract Documents may be obtained from the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, P.O. Box 3001, 609 River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B, E5K 4V3 OR FROM Godfrey Associates Ltd., 186 Adelaide Street, Saint John, N.B., E2K 1X1, upon payment of FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST).

A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, in the fixed amount of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($100,000.00) must accompany each Tender.

Tender Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton.

Tenders will be opened publicly at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office as soon after the Tender Closing as possible. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
