
The Saint John
Astronomy Club, in cooperation with the Town of Grand Bay Westfield’s
Tourism Committee, will be holding a Summer
Constellations Identification Session for
children and adults of
all
ages on Sunday, August 9th
at the Brundage Point River Centre, 4 Ferry Road, Grand Bay-Westfield
from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Come celebrate the International
Year of Astronomy and
learn about our summer night sky filled with a parade of animals and
heroes from mythology. You will also learn how to identify the
summer constellations while being entertained with some ancient tales
of their origins. Weather depending, there will be a tour of the sky
after dark and telescope observing of some of the treasures found in
