Eric & Janet Coston better know in geocaching circles as “Mud in the Face”, in cooperation with the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield’s Tourism Committee, will be holding introduction to geocaching presentation and demonstration on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the Brundage Point River Centre, 4 Ferry Road, Grand Bay-Westfield from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Have you heard about geocaching or are you just starting out and would like to learn more about it?  Then Eric & Janet can help you to get started. There will be a hand’s on demonstration following the presentation on how to use a GPS to find hidden caches of different sizes. These caches will be temporary.  If you don't have a GPS that’s okay, you won't need one for this presentation, if you have one please bring it with you.

 
Eric & Janet will discuss how they got involved and the benefits, how many caches they have found and where they have been, how to use the geocaching website, how to upload and download GPS coordinates to your hand held unit and how to use a hand held GPS unit and use coordinates to find caches. Refreshments will be provided after the presentation and don’t forget to fill out a ballot for a door prize.
