PRESENTATIONS OF 2011 NB MERIT AWARDS

NB Merit Awards are an opportunity for municipalities to recognize achievements in six categories:  Arts; Business; Community Leadership; Environment; Sport, Recreation and Active Living; and Volunteer Service.

Grand Bay-Westfield Mayor Grace Losier, Council and Dr. Jim Parrott, MLA will be presenting 2011 Merit Awards at the regular Council Meeting of September 12, 2011.  The meeting begins at 7:30 pm in the Grand Bay Room of the Centrum, 609 River Valley Drive (rear entrance) and the public is invited to attend.

The following individuals will be receiving Merit Awards on September 12^th:

Michael & Emily Fox                      -           Arts

Michael Anderson                          -           Sports, Recreation and Active Living
