MILITARY TRAINING EXERCISE AUGUST 4-8, 2011 GRAND BAY-WESTFIELD AND SURROUNDING AREA There will be members from the Gagetown Combat Training Centre in the Grand Bay-Westfield area from August 4-8, 2011 on a Military Exercise and they will be wearing both military and civilian clothing.  The members in civilian clothing will have at least one member in military clothing with them at all times when they are carrying weapons.  The soldiers will be carrying rifles openly and will have blank ammunition with them while they are conducting training.  There will be controlled small arms firing with blank ammunition and various pyrotechnics in specific, previously cleared locations in the outlying areas of our Town.  All engagements will have safety staff in the immediate area to strictly supervise all training activities that involve the use of ammunition and pyrotechnics.  In addition to the soldiers there will be military vehicles, ranging from light utility to 15 tonne eight-wheeled armoured fighting vehicles driving both within the Town limits and in the neighboring communities.
