Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 11:00 A.M., local time, May 14, 2001 at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office.
The Work consists generally of all work required to make improvements to the municipal streets including supply and installation of approximately 232 lineal metres of reinforced concrete storm sewer piping ranging in size from 300 mm to 600 mm in diameter complete with precast concrete structures; reinstallation of approximately 62 lineal metres of existing reinforced concrete storm sewer pipe ranging in size from 450 mm to 600 mm in diameter; construction of approximately 625 lineal metres of concrete curb and gutter and 285 lineal metres of reinforced concrete sidewalk; supply and placement of 795 tonnes of hot mix asphalt; and site restoration.
Contract Documents may be obtained from the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, P.O. Box 3001, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B, E5K 4V3 OR FROM Godfrey Associates Ltd., 186 Adelaide Street, Saint John, N.B., E2K 1X1, upon payment of TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00) NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST).
A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, in the fixed amount of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000.00) must accompany each Tender.
Tenders will be opened publicly at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office
as soon after the Tender Closing as possible. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield
reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the
right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
