7:00pm – 8:00pm

The Saint John Astronomy Club, in cooperation with the Town of Grand Bay Westfield’s Tourism Committee, will be holding a Lunar Information Session for children and adults of all ages on Sunday, September 27th at the Brundage Point River Centre, 4 Ferry Road, Grand Bay-Westfield from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Come find out why the Moon go through phases, why does it look bigger when it’s rising and why does it turn people into Werewolves? Learn the answers to two of these questions, as well as other lunar mysteries such as how did it form, why it seems to be yellow or orange at times, and is it really made of cheese. If it is a clear night after the presentation, join the Saint John Astronomy Club in observing the Moon and Jupiter with its moons.
