The Brundage Point River Centre is part of the Lower River Passage Project, which is managed by the St. John River Society.  The Lower River Passage is a tourism initiative involving rural communities between Saint John and Fredericton, including the five River Centre sites along the historic St. John River: Hampton, Grand Bay-Westfield, Oromocto, Gagetown, and Young’s Cove and Waterborough, on Grand Lake.  The Lower River Passage meanders 130 kilometers, from the Port City of Saint John to the Capital City Fredericton.
.
The Brundage Point River Centre is part of the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield’s 2003 commitment to develop the entry to the Lower River Passage system, along the St. John River.  The River Centre will offer walking trails, washrooms, a boat launch, floating docks, benches, picnic tables, and meeting space.  The pathways will be maintained year-round to provide a walking area for residents. The River Centre may also be rented for workshops, wedding receptions, family gatherings, and other activities.
