7.1.

Each member of the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Council is entitled
to reimbursement for expenses incurred incidental to the discharge of duties
as a member of Council provided such expense is not disallowed by motion
of Council. |
7.2

Reimbursement pursuant to subsection 7(1) shall be limited to reasonable
expenses and made upon submission of receipts, plus $0.30 per kilometer
for use of a personal vehicle. |
7.3
|
The Mayor of the Municipality shall be paid a per diem rate of $75.00
per day for each day the Mayor attends meetings, seminars, conferences,
training sessions, and other like events as a representative of the Municipality
outside the boundaries of the Municipality. |
7.4
|
Each Councillor of the Municipality shall be paid a per diem rate
of $50.00 per day for each day the Councillor attends meetings, seminars,
conferences, training sessions, and other like events as a representative
of the Municipality outside the boundaries of the Municipality. |

This by-law comes into effect on May 25, 2004. |

By-law No. 70, a By-law of the Municipality of Grand Bay-Westfield
Respecting the Composition of the Council and the Remuneration of the Mayor
and the Councillors is hereby repealed. |
