By-law No. 104 is amended as follows:

Sections 3, 4, 5, and 6 are deleted and replaced with new sections 3, 4, 5, and 6 as follows:

3. Effective May 1, 2008 the Mayor of the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is entitled to remuneration in the 
    amount of  $14,000 per year payable in equal monthly payments;

4. Effective May 1, 2008 the Deputy Mayor of the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is entitled to remuneration 
    in the amount of $9,000 per year payable in equal monthly payments;

5. Effective May 1, 2008 each Councillor of the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is entitled to remuneration in the
    amount  of $8,400 per year payable in equal monthly payments;

6. Council may pass a resolution requiring any member of Council to forfeit all or part of his/her remuneration
    if such  member has missed a minimum of three consecutive public meetings without an excuse that Council
    deems valid.

This by-law comes into force on the date of enactment.
