Awards - Hon. Jack Keir, MLA and Mayor Grace Losier Presenters Hon. Jack Keir, MLA and Mayor Grace Losier presented the 2008 Merit Award to Carol Ann Boudreau for “Community Leadership”. Mayor Grace Losier thanked Lynn Koumbias and Glen Cosman for their work on the Merit Award Committee and presented them with a small token of the Town’s appreciation. It was noted that Lynn Koumbias has moved from the community and will no longer serve on the Committee and that Peter Fenwick was unavailable to serve on the Committee this year due to health reasons. Deputy Mayor Archer moved Council take a five minute recess to congratulate Carol Ann Boudreau. Seconded by Councillor Day. Carried. |

SEWER EXTENSION PER LETTER OF AUGUST 8, 2008 FROM GODFREY ASSOCIATES
LTD. RE: PROJECT NO. 010-132 Deputy Mayor Archer moved to approve additional work for Sanitary Sewer Extension on Mullen Lane - Finish the sanitary sewer installation including 105 metres of 200 mm diameter sewer, one sanitary manhole and two sanitary service pipes and Nerepis Road - Extend the sanitary sewer towards Ononette Road with 200 mm diameter pipe, a distance of 210 metres requiring 2 sanitary manholes and 2 sewer services per letter of August 8, 2008 from Godfrey Associates Ltd. Seconded by Councillor Day. Carried. It was noted the additional work is covered under the Green Infrastructure Program for funding. |
