| Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to receive and file the RCMP Statistical
Report for September 2004 as presented by Cst. Diane Veronneau.
Seconded by Councillor McGowan. Carried. It was noted it would be helpful if the monthly RCMP report listed
comparative data from the prior year.

| Re: Report on Preliminary Site Investigation for Northern
Wastewater Treatment Plant, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Project No. 010-107
Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to authorize Godfrey Associates Ltd. to proceed with a Site Identification Study to locate alternative acceptable sites for a Northern Wastewater Treatment Plant due to the fact the proposed Sagwa site is deemed by the Department of Environment and Local Government to be a Forest Wetland per correspondence of September 29, 2004 from Godfrey Associates Ltd. Seconded by Councillor McGowan. Carried.

| Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to receive and file Town of Grand Bay-Westfield
Sewerage Utility Accounts Receivable Report as at October 1, 2004.

| 16. | Recreation Director’s Report of October 6, 2004 Re: Integrated Pest Management Services | ||
| Councillor Day moved to concur with the Recreation Director’s recommendation
and renew the agreement with Urban Landscaping Ltd. for Integrated Pest
Management Services at a cost of $8,487.38 + $1,273.09 HST for a total
of $9,760.47 for another six month period of May-October 2005 with the
same terms and conditions.
Seconded by Deputy Mayor Murphy. Carried.

| 17. | Recreation Director’s Report of October 6, 2004 Re: Ball Field Maintenance Services | ||
| Councillor Day moved to concur with the Recreation Director’s recommendation
to renew Ball Field Maintenance Services with Wendell Derrah for a further
six-month period of May-October 2005 at a cost of $15.50 per hour with
the same terms and conditions.
Seconded by Deputy Mayor Murphy. Carried.
