SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
THURSDAY, MAY 17, 2001
1. CALL TO ORDER The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Council met in a Special Meeting on May 17, 2001 at 5:00 p.m. with Mayor Losier presiding.
2. RECORD OF ATTENDANCE All members were in attendance with the exception of Councillor Sutton.

4. TENDER NOTES OF MAY 14, 2001 RE: STREET IMPROVEMENTS 2001 - WOOLASTOOK DRIVE, KIRTLEY AVENUE, YOUNG STREET, TEAL STREET, PROSSER COURT, PROJECT NO. 010-092 Deputy Mayor Black moved to receive and file Tender Notes of May 14, 2001 Re: Street Improvements 2001 - Woolastook Drive, Kirtley Avenue, Young Street, Teal Street, Prosser Court, Project No. 010-092.
Seconded by Councillor McGowan. Carried.
5. LETTER OF MAY 14, 2001 RE: RECOMMENDATION FOR AWARD OF 2001 STREET IMPROVEMENTS CONTRACT – PROJECT NO. 010-092 Councillor Keir moved to award the 2001 Street Improvements Contract, Project No. 010-092 plus extra work as recommended per Godfrey Associates correspondence of May 16, for a cost of $4,000, to the low tenderer, Galbraith Construction for a total project cost of $229,000.
Seconded by Councillor McGowan. Carried.
6. ADJOURNMENT Councillor Keir moved adjournment. Seconded by Councillor McGowan. Carried.
