Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to forward a letter of recognition to the Kidney Foundation of Canada for our successful partnership in environmental stewardship by providing $50.00 cash incentives to residents from our community who donate derelict vehicles under the Foundations’ Kidney Car Donation Program and further to direct staff to bring forward a proposal to continue funding this Derelict Incentive Program in the Town’s 2007 Operational Budget. Seconded by Councillor McGowan. Carried.
