ADVERTISEMENT POLICY/DRAFT RESOLUTION Deputy Mayor Archer moved to concur with the recommendation of Dillon Consulting per letter of July 15, 2010 in that it be the Town’s policy effective this date that tender call notices for capital work be advertised only on the New Brunswick Opportunities Network and further that the following notice be placed on the Town website: The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield issues tenders through the New Brunswick Opportunities Network (NBON) as per requirements of the New Brunswick Public Purchasing Act. JULY 21, 2010 RE: FUTURE STREET OFF RIDGE WAY, PID NO. 30134936 Deputy Mayor Archer moved to consider the request to proceed with transferring ownership of Future Street PID No. 30134936 off Ridge Way subject to confirmation of non-interest from adjacent property owners and then following the applicant(s) completing wetland delineation for the protection of drainage on the lot to the satisfaction and approval by the Department of Environment for the proposed development of the lot, and subject to approval of the Planning Advisory Committee for a Variance to reduce the minimum 30 m lot frontage on Ridge Way complete with a minimum payment of $2,500.00 deposit by certified cheque, cash, debit or money order by the applicant(s) prior to any expenses being incurred toward legal, survey and registration costs under Town Policy No. E005. Victor Boudreau, Regional Development Corporation. Seconded by Deputy Mayor Archer. Carried. It was noted that letters of thanks would be forwarded to Hon. Victor Boudreau, Minister, Regional Development Corporation and Hon. Jack Keir, MLA. It was also noted that a bench would be placed near the Playground with a shade tree and that a notice regarding the new Playground would be placed in a Town flyer. |
