| RE: RECOMMENDED TRANSFER FROM WHARF RESERVE FUND - WHARF WATERFRONT
DEVELOPMENT EXPENDITURES
Councillor McGowan moved to transfer from the Wharf Reserve Fund an amount of $15,614.34 to the Town General Revenue Fund to cover costs for Wharf/Waterfront Development expenditures January 13, 2005 - April 30, 2005. Seconded by Deputy Mayor Murphy. Carried.

| 19. | BORROWING RESOLUTION FOR MUNICIPALITIES | ||
| RE: 2005 LINES OF CREDIT
Deputy Mayor Murphy moved that the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, or Councillor plus Town Manager - Treasurer or Assistant Clerk - Treasurer is/are hereby authorized to borrow on behalf of Town of Grand Bay-Westfield (the “Corporation”) from THE BANK OF NOVA SCOTIA (the “bank”) from time to time by way of promissory note a sum or sums not exceeding at any one time three hundred forty thousand two hundred and thirty six dollars ($340,236.00) to meet current expenditures of the Corporation for the year 2005 and that the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, or Councillor plus Town Manager - Treasurer or Assistant Clerk - Treasurer is/are hereby authorized to sign on behalf of the Corporation and to furnish to the Bank from time to time a promissory note or notes sealed with the corporate seal for the sum or sums so borrowed with interest at such rate as the Bank may from time to time determine. Seconded by Councillor Evans. Carried.

| RE: PROGRESS INVOICE REVIEW - GRAND BAY-WESTFIELD CENTRUM ELECTRICAL
UPGRADE
Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to concur with Mr. Erb’s recommendation for payment of $26,545.58 for Invoice No. 16651 from O’Brien Electric for Progress #1 payment of 90% complete per Recreation Director’s report of September 21, 2005. Seconded by Councillor Evans. Carried.

| RE: CITY OF SAINT JOHN RECREATIONAL FACILITIES COMMITTEE (2004)
REPORT SUMMARY
Councillor McGowan moved that the City of Saint John Recreational Facilities Committee (2004) Report be maintained on file by the Town Recreation Department for reference with a copy of the Report to be referred to the River Valley Community Center for information. Seconded by Councillor Evans. Carried.

| RE: DESIGNATED HIGHWAY 5 YEAR PLAN 2006 - 2010
Councillor Evans moved to adopt the Designated Highway 5 Year Plan 2006 - 2010 per Works Commissioner’s report of September 19, 2005 and forward the Plan to the Department of Transportation. Seconded by Deputy Mayor Murphy. Carried.

| Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to reduce the price of the lot on Morningside
Crescent to $19,900 per recommendation of Mary Ann Ketchum of Coldwell
Banker Classic Realty.
Seconded by Councillor Evans. Carried.
