| WASTE COMMISSION RE: SUBMISSION OF PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET
FOR THE YEAR 2008/OPERATIONAL UPDATE
Richard McLean, Town Representative, Fundy Region Solid Waste Commission provided information to Council regarding the proposed 2008 Commission Budget and an Operational Update. Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to receive and file the Fundy Region Solid Waste Commission 2008 Budget Submission and further moved to advise the Town’s representative to the Fundy Region Solid Waste Commission (FRSWC) that Council supports the FRSWC’s 2008 Budget Submission. Seconded by Councillor Evans. Carried. Mayor Losier thanked Richard McLean for his years of service as
Town Representative to the Fundy Region Solid Waste Commission.

Councillor McGowan moved to purchase regular unleaded fuel for municipal vehicles and equipment for the period of January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2010 from Scholtens with a discount of 4.974 cents per litre off the posted retail price. Seconded by Deputy Mayor Murphy. Carried.

| RE: LAWN MOWING SERVICES RENEWAL
Councillor Day moved to approve the renewal of Lawn Mowing Services with Westfield Beach Enterprises for the amount of $12,000 HST included for another six month period for May to October 2008 and to add the River Centre mowing to Lawn Mowing Services at a cost of $3,000 HST included for the same period of May to October 2008. Seconded by Councillor McGowan. Carried.

| RE: JANITORIAL SERVICES
Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to approve the proposal from Liam Beddow Cleaning for Janitorial Services for the amount of $1,980 plus applicable taxes per month for the period of January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008, with an option to renew for one more year. Seconded by Councillor Evans. Carried.
