Ltd. referenced concerns regarding the low bidder Dean Construction.

| RE: PROPOSED HENDERSON BROOK FISH HABITAT RESTORATION PROJECT
Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to authorize signatures and security in the amount of $5,000 for the completion of approvals from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans to complete the Henderson Brook Fish Habitat Restoration Project, to be conducted by the Department of National Defense during Military Exercises to be held within the Town during the week of August 20-27, 2005. Seconded by Councillor Evans. Carried. It was noted a Public Information Session will be held by the military
on August 17, 2005 to inform residents about the upcoming exercise.

Councillor McGowan departed the meeting at 8:26 p.m. due to a stated Conflict of Interest. Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to accept the amount of $625.48 as Money in Lieu of Land for Public Purposes for the creation of one new building lot as shown on the Tentative Subdivision Plan, William & Shirley Silliphant Subdivision Lot 2005-2 as prepared by DeSaulniers Surveys Inc. dated July 8, 2005 with approval of the Final Subdivision Plan to be subject to: a) payment of $625.48 Money in Lieu of Land for Public Purposes; b) any utility easements as required by NB Power and NB Tel for the servicing of this lot to be recorded on the Plan. Seconded by Councillor Evans. Carried. Councillor McGowan rejoined the meeting at 8:28 p.m.
