John Webber, Town Representative, River Valley Community Center presented Council with information on the 2007 operations of the River Valley Community Center and the proposed 2008 budget figures. Councillor Day moved to receive the presentation by Mr. Webber, Town Representative for River Valley Community Center (Arena). Seconded by Councillor McGowan. Carried. Mayor Losier thanked Mr. Webber, on behalf of Council, for his
dedicated service as Town Representative on the River Valley Community
Center Board.

to perform 2200 m of crack sealing work for a cost of $7,590 and to authorize
costs for an inspector from Godfrey Associates Ltd. for $500.

| RE: WESTFIELD WHARF - OLD BOAT RAMP CLOSURE
Deputy Mayor Murphy moved to approve the closure of the Westfield Wharf old boat ramp to public access and to install a post and chain gate for the remainder of 2007, with the option of installing a proper swing gate in the spring of 2008. Seconded by Councillor Day. Carried.

| RE: MUNICIPAL PLAN BY-LAW/ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENTS FOR TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION,
GRAND WEST HOLDINGS SUBDIVISION, PID NO. 00211870
Councillor Day moved that Council establish the date of October 22, 2007 for a Public Presentation as required under Section 25 of the Community Planning Act, to be held in the Grand Bay Room, 609 River Valley Drive, to hear a proposal to amend the Town Municipal Plan By-law, Generalized Future Land Use designation for property located at 1089 River Valley Drive, PID No. 00211870, to develop a new public street to access three single family dwellings, and four, four-unit garden home units; objections to the proposal may be made to Council within 30 days of the Public Presentation. Seconded by Councillor Evans. Carried.
